Angel Marcloid A/V is enduring some big changes under the hood, some of which you will see evidence of early next year, such as a re-branding and a new name.
Euglossine's Blue Marble Agony has been released on a Czech label called Genot Centre. This album is frankly one of the best experimental jazz fusion records I've ever heard. I feel beyond honored to have been able to master it! It required so much attention to detail, as Euglossine is always a very dynamic and expressive endeavor. Some extra time and care was put into this one.
I recently mastered this glitchy mallet percussion masterpiece by composer, sound designer, and PhD candidate Jacob Sachs-Mishalanie. It's called Scribble and it is a wild, smeary, jerky ride that seems to resist chaos just as much as it embraces it.
I've mastered the latest Mukqs record (and the 6 before it). It's called Water Levels. It's a mostly improvisational, abstract, textural exploration of the aquatic vibes and the water levels of old RPG games.
I've recently discovered that Master Coon, one of the Wiggly records I mastered, was released earlier this year. I never know what I'm going to get from this client. His release as Mechanical Facade, called New Age For Dummies, which surprisingly sounds exactly like the album title, was one of the first albums I ever mastered as a business. However, Master Coon exists in a retro-futuristic post-rock n' roll space age, dabbling in surf, indie, folk, and pop music. Weird wonky fun for the whole family.
Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy! Space Heater's new album will be out soon. It's called Music Planet and you can hear a few singles from it now. I mastered it, and it's going to be one of the funnest and most stimulating prog/fusion/rock records of the year. They are a young quirky super-group from Asheville, NC with music fit for yacht clubs, backyard parties, and the NAMM festival.
That's all for now. I will be coming up with content beyond just new release announcements in the near future.
